Little BIG Planet

This has got to be the Mighty Boosh of gaming. Little BIG Planet on PS3 may be a simple platformer but it's great fun for co-op playing. So far we're about 70% through the story mode collecting all the materials, stickers and items which will help us create our own game levels to share on the network.

The character design is very cute as you can see with your very own SackBoy or SackGirl being able to customise their own clothing, headgear, wigs, tails(?) etc. The controls are quite simple though in places they can get slightly frustrating but the home-made style graphics and infectious music make up for it.

GingerDJRoblog has been lynched by the Six TV mafia. Back in August (10th) I reported about the Solent Sci-fi TV programme we watched and its DIY presentation. This week I've been bombarded (well two of them) by the makers of the show with defensive swipes. From the recent bollox on digital lately I could be persuaded to view more of the Adventures of Stephen Brown . I'm also considering to ask for a walk on part for their next production. Picture above is from their Tubcon Invasion series - great costume and more exciting photos from their picture gallery . I've also found their YouTube videos . Talking of costume, I've learnt that the NYE party will have a mandatory dress-code of hat wearing. A little research has uncovered some websites for inspiration including Sabrina, the teenage witch's cat (or rather its stuffed relative) modelling some ideas. Just found a cute animation on YouTube called Kiwi!
