Don't arm wrestle a pirate

I've managed to buy some Mighty Boosh tour tickets for Brighton Dome a day before their release thanks to the Modwolves club I'm a member of. It's finally paid off and will hopefully get front row seats for their live show next November.

The same club/mailing list also promoted a great cartoon joke book called 'Don't arm wrestle a pirate' which the above image is from. Perfect as a Christmas present. They also have a MySpace entry which features more drawings.

GingerDJRoblog has been lynched by the Six TV mafia. Back in August (10th) I reported about the Solent Sci-fi TV programme we watched and its DIY presentation. This week I've been bombarded (well two of them) by the makers of the show with defensive swipes. From the recent bollox on digital lately I could be persuaded to view more of the Adventures of Stephen Brown . I'm also considering to ask for a walk on part for their next production. Picture above is from their Tubcon Invasion series - great costume and more exciting photos from their picture gallery . I've also found their YouTube videos . Talking of costume, I've learnt that the NYE party will have a mandatory dress-code of hat wearing. A little research has uncovered some websites for inspiration including Sabrina, the teenage witch's cat (or rather its stuffed relative) modelling some ideas. Just found a cute animation on YouTube called Kiwi!
