Potter spotter

Harry Potter dolls and GeishaImage by Ginger DJ via FlickrJust picked up the latest listing for Komedia and spotted Potted Potter (not the one pictured). Its two blokes acting out all 7 Harry Potter books in 60 minutes. Shame we're on holiday.

Not much to report this week. New Zealand holiday is shaping up. The snowmobile adventure trip is off as we arrive too late in the season. Slightly concerned that there'll be a lack of snow for boarding.

Capoeira is going okay. This week I went to the slightly more advanced class ending the night with some clapping and singing. I thought I had rhythm but clapping three beats then singing (more like mumbling) to a 4/4 beat is well tricky.

Hah! So you've given up on GKR. GKR is for the undiscerning, the thick skinned and that nice Matt Broomfield with the great website. They are so lucky to have him. Keep us informed about how you get on with Capoeira. Good to know that you'r enjoying it. It seems a really interesting thing to do. (same anon from July 21, 2006, I still like my Shotokan)

GingerDJRoblog has been lynched by the Six TV mafia. Back in August (10th) I reported about the Solent Sci-fi TV programme we watched and its DIY presentation. This week I've been bombarded (well two of them) by the makers of the show with defensive swipes. From the recent bollox on digital lately I could be persuaded to view more of the Adventures of Stephen Brown . I'm also considering to ask for a walk on part for their next production. Picture above is from their Tubcon Invasion series - great costume and more exciting photos from their picture gallery . I've also found their YouTube videos . Talking of costume, I've learnt that the NYE party will have a mandatory dress-code of hat wearing. A little research has uncovered some websites for inspiration including Sabrina, the teenage witch's cat (or rather its stuffed relative) modelling some ideas. Just found a cute animation on YouTube called Kiwi!
