Eye-pod
Got on the train next to twenty odd Brummie scouts who smelled like they'd not washed for a week. A quick Convent Garden shop hit followed by meeting Kerry's family at London Eye. Weather was a bit mean so views were a little dull. Morgan, my niece, as cute as she is, kept wanting to play I-spy. All I wanted to do was take photos. The Eye's pod we were in was quite busy really so getting a good vantage point to see the scenery meant taking turns taking photos. Kerry remained on terra-firma and as the big wheel rotated us down we spotted her and decided to keep waving to her annoyance. Walked past all the main sights of Houses of Parliament, No. 10, Trafalger Sq then back to Convent Garden for a meal.
Quite an early one for us to get back and bored with telly we drove around the New Forest hoping the clouds would part for the meteor shower display but no luck. As we drove, we followed a panda car flashing an old codger to pull over. For about a mile he refused to pull over until another cop car overtook us then the rest to sandwich the ageing offender - busted!
Sunday was boring apart from watching Pirates of the Caribbean 2 which was a bit crap really - just one action sequence after another.
