Daft decision?

After a chat with Kerry last night, enough was enough. There was too much pressure and had to end it there and then. Commitment had been tested for so long, we gave in and paid for the weekend tickets for Global Gathering to ensure we see Daft Punk. With GG actually responding to an old email of ours requesting Friday only tickets plus their latest newsletter declaring 'only a few weekend tickets' left meant their game of chicken made us the losers.

Looking do the side of the sofa is being serious considered as money becomes extremely scarce. I blame it all on that greedy bitch, Madonna and her ticket prices. Ebay sales are a non-mover as it seems that no-one wants to commit to a sale without a physical ticket. This so fits my surname profile being a 'Burdened Optimist'. If you're interested in finding out about your surname try going to the Surname Profiler website. Enter your surname and you'll find out where in the country your family name was popular in 1881 then in 1998. Click on the Geographical Location link and it will also give your Mosaic profile of which Coleman is 'Burdened Optimist'. Nice to see a strong number of Coleman's in Norfolk.

Basically, Mosaic UK is the latest marketing segmentation classification. A popluar older version was A, B, C1, C2, D and E basing it on your income and education. This time there seems to be 61 types. Reading the description of Burdened Optimists just struck me a bit too accurate. You can read the highlights in the entry below. Anyone with a Marketing degree might find this interesting.

Talking of marketing, there's been a spate of compliation CDs being flogged on the TV lately for Fathers Day present ideas. It's almost that the music industry has been waiting for this year with 35 year olds to be cultivated for Bez's Madchester album, some Ska and two-tone stuff and a Back in the Day for rave classics. If any orphan children wishing to have a father for a day then could you buy me Bez's album as I refuse to be a marketing target.
