Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy watched last night. When I see reviews elsewhere before giving mediocre scores I know I'll expect the same. Shame as there's loads of great creative touches though just let down by making it too accessible to all audiences - bit like a very weak vodka redbull, sickly sweet with none of the danger. Nice to see (and hear) some Brit talent including a tird of League of Gentleman, Bill Bailey as the whale, the old TV Marvin robot, old Arthur Dent actor, as well as the main charaters - though Martin Freeman didn't really cut it for me. Other small touches were the welcoming crab, the Vogons (quite large really), Shynola's animation of the Guide and the Planet factory (another large one). Pointless character: John Malkovich - great effects but lame reason for plot Overall: Tried too hard to appeal to all with dilluted and rushed story

IBM announced 13,000 job redundencies across Europe today. So glad I was pushed out back in September 2005. That ship is sinking! Now some employment agency is offering a role at Lawton Marketing to project manage EA software viral marketing campaigns! Nearly 2 years had they turned their nose at me without anything to go on. Dare I take the bait??

Debenhams TV = Paramount Comedy i.e. cheap but ok. Vic Reeves Big Night Out on TV - originators of the irrelevant! Resident Evil 4 played before all this introspective and enjoyed with a class cookie. Home bills sorted whilst blank was ... productive....really....productive. Blogging now dawning me as a good idea..."that's my idea, that was" after visiting my FlickR site and seeing the Add to Blog button and....seeing the link I'll add after this entry..yay! Whatever happened to Les? Grown his hair and still acts but keeps the secret of being Les maybe?
